After four weeks of fighting with my Annihilator (non-pro), I was finally able to get it working. SOLUTION: Re-install Windows 98! Since then, I have had no system hangs...tweaked my Abit BE6-2 (po BIOS) AGP Transfer set to HIGH. I was able to use my system for about six hours with no hangs.
